The museum will be closed for Thanksgiving on Wednesday and Thursday, November 24 and 25. We will be open during regular hours (10 a.m. to 4 p.m.) on Friday, November 26, with a special 25% off sale on canvas Mitford maps perfect for holiday gifting (along with your favorite SIGNED Mitford novel)!

For Christmas, the museum will be closed Friday and Saturday December, 24 and 25. And finally, we will be closed on Saturday, January 1, so staff and volunteers can enjoy their collard greens and black-eyed peas to ensure a lucky 2022.

The Mitford Museum

The Mitford Museum is North Carolina’s newest literary landmark.
