Whether you attended our 2022 GetLit! literary weekend or are planning to attend in 2023, here’s a look at our first year out. Authors Joseph Bathanti, Wiley Cash, Gretchen Griffith, Sarah McCoy, Sarah Loudin Thomas, and Sandra Warren gave talks, led workshops, and visited with attendees. We also unveiled the Grit art exhibition by Michael Winslow, enjoyed great food, toured The Mitford Museum, and shopped with Adventure Bound Books. The Mitford Museum
The Mitford Museum is North Carolina’s newest literary landmark.
Founded by #1 New York Times bestselling author, Jan Karon, the museum's mission is to advance the common good through literacy, creativity, and community.
